Peace Like a River

Consider the flowing of the river. It flows from a mountain height down into the valley. It is pure and clean.

…But then a storm arises and in the turmoil of the storm, mud is lifted up and the churning waters are no longer clean. Instead, they become muddy… and ugly… and dangerous.

However, if you give it time, the natural flow of the river will eventually clear the waters. It will all wash downstream and the water will be clean again.

So it is with our lives. You may be in a storm today and things are muddy and uncertain. But, just turn it over to God. According to His Will and in time, you will have peace again.
