Healing for the Wounded Spirit

Just a Bit of Background

Over the course of our ministry, we've come to realize how similar people's life experiences are. It seems most begin their journey with God with great dreams of doing a work for the Lord, but over time, hurts, betrayals, and disappointments can mount up.

Unless we truly know how to forgive and let go of the past, we can become gridlocked by bitterness and fear, losing the victory and freedom promised us in scripture.

I can't tell you how many precious saints we've met who, despite our sermons and songs about joy and deliverance, walk with their heads down. I was one of those people until my husband came home one day and said, "Hon, you can't keep living this way. I want you to watch this sermon by Rev. David Shatwell."

Honestly, this anointed man and the message God has given him to share changed my life and helped me reclaim the ministry God placed on my heart many years ago.

What can I do?

If you're hurting and have run out of answers, here's what I'd suggest:
  1. Clear an afternoon
  2. Grab a journal and pen, or print the Forgiveness Journal
  3. Watch the powerful sermon below: The Tragedy of a Wounded Spirit by Rev. David Shatwell
  4. Allow yourself the time to work through forgiveness

3.27.17 ~ I have to add this video. It is powerful. Rev. Shatwell discusses forgiving God and Sis. Kim Haney delves into the need for forgiving God. Please consider watching this video as well!

God bless you! I hope you find the healing and hope you've been searching for!
