Time to Give Back!

I was putting together some information on our missionaries for our church members. Did you know that there is an evaluation form on the Mission Site where you can "evaluate" the behavior of the missionary's children? Since when is it good to place children who must travel around the US and overseas under such pressure? Since when is placing the children of any minister under such open scrutiny advisable?
Frustrated and concerned, I wrote a letter to the director of promotion for Global Missions and have learned some devastating news. Sadly, this evaluation is due to some churches withdrawing their support of missionaries because children were acting like....children.
Just picture it: These kids spend hours upon hours in a car traveling and then people are expecting them to be calm when they get a chance to move around a bit. Very sad.
I've spoken to the director about gathering toys, games, or books for the kids on deputation to help with the tedious travel time. I'll keep you guys posted but if you are a member of one of the churches who has withdrawn your support, please rethink your decision. And if you're as concerned as I am, please start thinking of things we can send for these kids! :-) They give up so much; can't we give a little?
Anything you can send for any age group would be so appreciated.  Right now, the best way to give the toys is to either give them to a missionary child yourself when they visit your church or send them to:
