Praise Is What I Do

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God.”When Paul and Silas realized they couldn’t get out of prison, they praised and prayed God into their prison with them! This is a powerful truth for all to understand. Prayer and Praise get the attention of God.

God does not inhabit the complaints and gripes of His people, but rather the “praises” of His people (Ps. 22:3).

Praise is Positive!
Praise is Powerful!

It was when all of Israel shouted with praise that the walls of Jericho came down. Invite God into your situation with a voice of thanksgiving and you will find Him to be “beautiful for situation” (Ps. 48:2).

If you want a positive encounter; Praise God!
If you need help and assistance; Praise God!
If you want a good job; Praise God!
If you want a powerful witness; Praise God!

The Psalmist David uttered a great truth in Psalm 103:1… “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me.”

It is important to note that the psalmist begins the psalm with “Bless the Lord, O my soul,” and then ends the same way!

“Praise” is both the beginning and the end of the Christian life. According to Psalm 149:1, “praise” is to be founded in the congregation of the saints, and with it, the Lord will take pleasure and beautify with salvation (Ps. 149:4).

Whatever your situation, let’s praise the Lord!
